After our last day teaching, we went with some friends around the city in the evening. First to an "American" grill for pizza--and nice sweet tea with tons of ice! They don't do ice there--and then a walk through the park around the state buildings. There are so many massive open courtyards with nothing in them! Kids skate over the pavement for fun around the White House at night.
